Donate with purpose: tax-deductible giving toward compassionate care and houseing for seniors in lockhart, tx

Golden Age Home is a 501(c)(3) organization, allowing donors to claim contributions as deductions on their tax returns. Since our founding, we've established a fund to support individuals who cannot afford full residency costs. Granted nonprofit status in 1964, we strive to provide affordable care. In the late 1990s, a TDCHA grant helped us offer 16 subsidized housing units in our Assisted Living facility. We continue to secure funding to sustain this vital program, ensuring our rates remain 80-90% of market rates, providing a cost-effective solution for seniors in need of high-quality care in a Christian setting.

One touching example of the impact of our low-income program is Ms. Ruby's story. Residing in our independent wing, she received comprehensive care that significantly improved her health and social engagement, honoring her legacy of service to others. Without this program, Ms. Ruby's health could have severely declined. Our commitment is to continue such essential support, reflecting our core mission of compassionate care.
