Mary Ellen Becklin

Golden Age Home board of directors, Member

Hello, I'm Mary Ellen Becklin, and I've had the honor of serving on the Board of Directors at Golden Age Home Assisted Living since 2018. A proud resident of Lockhart, I've dedicated my life to this wonderful community, first as a teacher with the Lockhart Independent School District and now in my various volunteer roles.

My commitment to service is deeply rooted in my faith and community connections. As a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lockhart, I actively participate in the Methodist Women’s group and volunteer as an Ombudsman, advocating for the well-being and rights of our senior residents. These roles allow me to stay closely connected with the people of Lockhart and contribute meaningfully to the mission of Golden Age Home.

Being a board member at GAH is incredibly rewarding. It gives me the opportunity to use my skills and experiences to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. I'm passionate about ensuring that we continue to provide compassionate, faith-based care in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. If you share our commitment to making a difference and want to use your talents to benefit our community, we would love to have you join our board. Together, we can continue to enrich the lives of the seniors we serve and strengthen the bonds of our community.
