Celebrating Pastor Morris Roecker’s 30 Years of Ministry
After three decades of dedicated service, Pastor Morris Roecker is retiring from his role at Golden Age Home. His faith-filled journey, supported by his "prayer warriors," has left a lasting impact on both residents and staff. A project that started to give residents at Golden Age Home a meaningful purpose behind their crafts has grown into a year-round ministry.
Ten-plus years ago, GAH Executive Director Nicole Burnett introduced the residents to the idea of making items that could be used in the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. During the past 10 years they have started making crafts, jewelry, books, games, purses clothing, and more for the shoeboxes throughout the year.
Pamper & Portraits Day
Residents at Golden Age Home enjoyed a special day of pampering! The talented Luling ISD cosmetology students, along with their teacher Ms. Towles provided haircuts, hairstyles, and makeup. Afterward, they posed for portraits captured by the wonderful Angelica Marisella Photography, local photographer located in Lockhart. It was heartwarming to see our residents looking fabulous and full of smiles!
