Marcia Proctor

Golden Age Home board of directors, Member

We are thrilled to welcome Marcia Proctor, a retired educator, to the Golden Age Home Board of Directors. Marcia brings a wealth of experience and deep commitment to serving the community.

Marcia is actively involved in Emmanuel Episcopal Church and has contributed to various organizations such as Betas, Meals on Wheels, and Beautify Lockhart. She also served on the City Council in the 1990s and has been a part of the Irving Club. Her leadership experience includes roles as Interim President and Vice President of the Irving Club, as well as serving on the City Council for six years.

Motivated by a desire to ensure continued care options for seniors, Marcia aligns her values of dignity and respect for all ages with Golden Age Home's Christian-based mission. With expertise in grant management, budget oversight, and strategic planning, she looks forward to shaping the future of senior care in Lockhart.

Her personal experiences caring for her father, a former resident at Golden Age Home, and overseeing her aunt's care until her passing at 103, inspire her dedication to ensuring that seniors continue to live with dignity and respect.
